Farewell Jim Baen's Universe. On a tangent, a publication that doesn't want to close down is Strange Horizons, so donate to their fund drive. They're even giving incentives to both bloggers and twitters to those who publicize their fund drive.

And this week's controversy in the SF&F community revolves around The Mammoth Book of Mindblowing SF edited by Mike Ashley (with Paul Di Filippo at the center of the Tempest, so to speak).
